*HIT REFRESH TO SEE NEW PICS & DESIGNERS*

Precious Exec. Producer Tyler Perry donned a Prada tux tonight. Looking nice Tyler.

Anthony Mackie–co-star of the Oscar nominated Hurt Locker–looked clean cut and fresh.

And Morgan Freeman–nominated for Best Actor for Invictus–hit the carpet with his daughter Mogana (yes, Morgana) and date/producer Lori McCreary.

Who are your fave YBF celebs wearing on tonight’s 2010 Academy Awards red carpet? YBF’s got the pics of celebs kicking off their most memorable night in what could be their most memorable looks. The road to the Oscars is here. Let the fabness begin….
Who are your picks for Best Actress/Best Actor/Best Picture/Best Director/etc.? Watch with us oh fab ones. More pics under the cut…

Stunning. Jennifer Lopez hit tonight’s red carpet in Giorgio Armani Prive’ and it looked like her body was poured into it as it fits her perfectly. I always love when Jenny rocks a pale or white color because it always makes her pop. The iridescent dramatic bust-to-waist-to-train decked in Swarvoski crystals folds and gathering gives a fabulous wow factor.

With Demi Moore in Atelier Versace

Simplistic hair and makeup (even though overall I hate this teased top layer of hair look the ladies have been rocking tonight) work for her. And the diamonds don’t hurt either. Hot.

Gabourey Sidibe rocked a more embellished look for her big night tonight. It’s a deep cobalt Marchesa blue gown with a criss crossed rouched bust, off the shoulder sleeves, and flowing chiffon. Glad she put in a bit of sparkle along the bust and waist. She rocked Lorraine Schwartz jewels to complete the look.

Hair was an upgrade as well.
Gabby also gets our QUOTE OF THE NIGHT Award:. She said to Ryan Seacrest (after demanding the Glam Cam to take in allll of her dress): “If fashion was porn, this dress is the money shot. You know it.” LOL.

Queen Latifah donned this lavender Badgley Mischka gown with a slight mermaid hem and train. It’s completed with a jeweled shoulder and waist. Beautiful color on her.

The gown is a bit safe, but I’m always impressed how Queen can go from tomboy to total glam YBF chick so seamlessly. Her diamonds and pink sapphires are by Chopard.

Zoe Kravitz rocked an interesting look while escorting her DILF dad Lenny Kravitz tonight.

Zoe’s dress had a red velvet small v-cut bust with a huge red bow on the back reminding us of a Christmas present. But the blush colored sleek and very feminine flowing bottom of the dress saved us from hating it. Her skin and jewelry look like perfection. And she pulls off the conservatively chic look.

I actually like Nicole Richie’s look. Very “vintage” Hollywood circa the 70’s fab and the darker metallic color pops on her skin. The designer is Reem Acra.

Gives off an Audrey Hepburn vibe. Different look or the Oscars, but I’m feelin’ it. Her shoes were by Bally by the way.

The Precious folks just hit the red carpet. Mariah and Nick posed with director Lee Daniels and his adoptive daughter Clara.

Sigh. I feel like I’ve seen this high slit diamond hip brooch style of dress on Mariah umpteen times on every other red carpet. I am pleased that she’s classier than usual (and that Nick’s tux is tailored). But I’m not impressed with this Valentino gown, its color, or the basic gold Louboutin pumps for an Oscars red carpet.

Mo’Nique hit the carpet with her biggest accessory–her hubby Sidney. She donned a Tadashi Shoji (her go-to designer this Awards season) cobalt blue wide strapped sleeveless dress with crisscrossed rouching around the waist and hips. Her hair and jewelry are working for her, but I expected more from her gown-wise on her big night.
Mo’s red carpet quotes: “All of this [recognition for Precious] isn’t for us, it’s for those who can relate.” “I didn’t shave my legs or underarms..I never do and Oscars are no different.”

Very simple and very safe. She looks fab nonetheless. Good luck Mo!
Jaw dropping look for Zoe Saldana:

This gown had the distinct possibility of going terribly wrong. But this Givenchy Spring 2010 Couture gown looked like a piece of artwork coming down the red carpet and Zoe is rocking it effortlessly. A blush/cream metallic strapless bust set off by a sweeping frilly 5 shades of lavender and black bottom just works. Almost overwhelming on the eye. And we love it.

Minimal makeup and perfectly swept up hair–simply gorgeous. And the hot purple suede Givenchy shoes put us in purple heaven. I have a feeling, though, that this will be the gown people either drool over or throw up on. Do you hate it or love it?

Paula Patton and her hubby Robin Thicke are bringing in spring right with the crisp tangerine and petite bow tie on the tux. Paula is proudly showing off her 7 months preggers belly in her gown. The gown seems a bit overly mature for her as she usually does more chic and glamorous yet fun even while preggers.

But the color is perfection against her skin and she’s glowing.

Anika Noni Rose kicks off tonight’s red carpet showdown in this amazing gold metallic bustier gown with mirror pieces covering the deep sweetheart cut. The bottom of the gown is (one of this season’s IT color) cream taffeta folded with bow details. Swept up hair and diamond flower studs make this look fabulous.
