So Chris Brown hit up a Richmond, VA radio station yesterday to promote his local concert. And before the interview could really get started, he apparently got upset with the radio host not playing his music, and stormed out. That’s the host’s story.

 

But Chris Tweeted that the audio was edited to make him sound like a diva, and he apologized via Twitter.

NEWS: KATIE WASHINGTON NAMED NOTRE DAME’S FIRST BLACK VALEDICTORIAN + INFO ON THE RETURN OF CL GRADUATES

Twenty-one year old Katie Washington will make history in a few days when the Gary, Indiana native graduates with a perfect 4.0 GPA at the University of Notre Dame, becoming the first black valedictorian in the school’s 168-year history.

Washington, a biology major and minor in Catholic social teaching, said she is humbled and “I am in a mode of gratitude and thanksgiving right now. I have had so much support, people who really wanted to see that I reached my full potential.” She plans to pursue a joint M.D./Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins University and will address the class of 2010 at commencement on May 16.

NEWS: PRESIDENT OBAMA GETS EMOTIONAL AT DR. DOROTHY HEIGHT’S FUNERAL

President Barack Obama, sitting next to First Lady Michelle Obama, wipes away tears at Dr. Dorothy Height’s funeral on Thursday held at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Height led the National Council for Negro Women for four decades and was present at the key battles for racial equality since the 1930s. She died at age 98 after a lifetime devoted to the fight for equality.

The President eulogized the “Godmother” of the American Civil Rights Movement, citing her humility and fight for the cause: “She never cared about who got the credit. What she cared about was the cause. The cause of justice, the cause of equality, the cause of opportunity, freedom’s cause.

He also revealed that Dr. Height had visited the Obama White House over 20 times and urged Americans to honor her memory by serving and improving their country.
