Kimora Lee Simmons, along with her beau Djimon Hounsou welcomed a baby boy Saturday morning. The star shared the news via her twitter page this weekend:
“It’s time!! No turning back! At hospital in labor right now!!,” followed shortly after by, “Having contractions now! Ooo- wee! It’s like WHOA! Love & Light, KLS.”
Sixteen hours later, E! News can confirm that Simmons and her partner, Djimon Hounsou, are now proud parents. Says her rep, “Kimora and Djimon’s son was born Saturday morning, May 30th.” SOURCE
Kimora and Djimon have been together since March ‘07, following her divorce from Russell Simmons. This is Hounsou’s first child and the third for Simmons along with daughters, Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6. No details on the name of Simmons and Hounsou’s son.
J.HUD REPORTEDLY PREGNANT; THROWS BABY SHOWER IN CHICAGO
Rumors of Jennifer Hudson’s pregnancy have been all over the net for a couple of months now and the Chicago Tribune is exclusively reporting that the singer/actress is 7 months along and just threw a baby show this weekend.
Felicia Fields, a longtime friend of the Hudson, confirmed to the paper that the event happened on Saturday.
“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family. They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet.”
When asked if Hudson received blue or pink gifts, Fields said, “They don’t know [the gender]. More yellow.”
J.Hud has been engaged to former reality TV star David Otunga since last year. Congrat to the couple!
JAMIE FOXXWORTH GIVES BIRTH
Former child star JAIMEE FOXWORTH is a first-time mother after giving birth to a baby boy this weekend.
The actress (best known for her stint on Family Matters), and her boyfriend Michael Shaw welcomed son Michael Douglas Shaw Jr. Friday in L.A.
The baby weighed in at six pounds, 11 ounces (3.03 kilograms). People.com reports:
She says, “This is the best day of my life. I am so excited to be a mother and I also look forward to getting back to work.”
Foxworth has most recently been in the spotlight after appearing on the U.S. reality series Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew last year.
