Ciara is headed to the country of Kazakhstan to do a New Year’s performance for a cool $2 million dollars, her management confirms. That’s the going rate for her goodies these days? Damn. Hats off to her. Her team has been tweeting lately about prepping for the big trip. They are headed there today, and then CiCi’s off to Moscow. Nice.
On a side but related note, supposedly Kazakhstan paid Whitney Houston the same amount back in July of 2008. Womp.

Back in my hometown, Morris Peterson of the New Orleans Hornets (and a 9 year NBA vet) reminded the kiddies of the true meaning of Christmas. He hosted his 2nd annual Toy Drive benefiting the Morris Peterson Foundation in his current home of New Orleans. He brought tons-o-gifts to the kids at the Desire Street Youth Center. Sweet.
And Dahntay Jones of the Indiana Pacers showed the kids he cares by hosting his first ever Toy Drive benefiting the Dahntay Jones Foundation last Wednesday. He brought toys galore to the hundreds of terminally ill children at the Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
