Lloyd revealed to his fans today via Twitter that he cut off his luxurious locks that women seem to love so much.  He decided to donate his hair to Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that will use his hair to create a hair piece finanicially disadvantaged child who suffers from long-term medical hair loss.

When talking about his haircut here is what Lloyd had to say:

I’ve been growing my hair since 9th grade. It’s time for a new me.  

The fact that my hair will go to someone that needs it more than me, makes me feel great about my decision.

Here’s Nicki Minaj’s promo video for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. Nicki will give her first-ever televised solo performance during the pre-show with “Your Love” which is set to kick off Sunday, September 12, at 8 PM (EST).

In a statement announcing her participation, Nicki said:

“I am truly honored to be a part of this year’s VMAs. Just yesterday I was an underground female rapper. See, Barbz? Dreams do come true.”

She’s also offering to make 10 of her fans’ dreams come true by offering 10 front-row seats to her performance. For information on the contest, follow @NickiMinaj and @MTVTJ. Winners will be announced on Friday, September 10.

Kelly Rowland graces the cover of the September issue of Pride Magazine, the first-ever UK monthly black publication launched in 1990.

Kelly’s third album is slated for release later this year on Universal Motown.

We all know by now that T.I. and Tiny were arrested last night for a controlled substance. Then we reported there may have been some purple drank in the styrofoam cups found in the car they were in. According to Nicole Nishida, a spokeswoman for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, deputies pulled over T.I.’s Maybach after he made an illegal U-turn on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. Cops then smelled marijuana and conducted a search. They then found a controlled substance which is now believed to be “pills resembling Ecstasy." 

“The pills are being tested as we speak,” Nicole Nishida said.

Federal officials are in the process of determining whether or not to revoke T.I.’s probation due to last night’s arrest.  United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said,  "The probation office is in the process of determining what happened and will make a recommendation regarding Mr. Harris when they have all the facts."

T.I. could be sent right back to jail to do some serious time if they determine he did violate his probation. T.I.’s probation officer has asked him to return to Atlanta so it doesn’t look to good for the King.

This isn’t gonna end well.  So much for "ridin’ wit the King…"

Grace was spotted out in Tribeca with Usher today peeping out real estate.  And we all know you don’t buy property with someone who’s "just a friend".  And she also happened to be rocking an oversized fluffy sleeveless blouse.  One that could be hiding her baby bump we exclusively reported on this spring.

The two made sure not to arrive to this building in Tribeca right next to each other, but the paps still caught them scouting out the properties:

Guess who was spotted looking for apartments with his girlfriend in Tribeca on Thursday afternoon? Hint: He has two children from a previous relationship.

It’s entertainer Usher. He was spotted looking for apartments in Tribeca with his rumored girlfriend Grace Miguel. The duo weren’t pictured together but were seen entering and exiting a list of apartments in the area.

Usher has two sons from a previous marriage to Tameka Raymond.

Luckily it wasn’t too windy of a day at the Venice Film Festival today.  Because Naomi Campbell‘s wig almost showed all her beaded baldness. 

Yet and still, she managed to be her fabulous self while hitting the red carpet today with her hot boyfriend Vladislav.  The two yachted over to the luxe events and toted around town earlier in the day.  Pics when you read on…

Here’s the new video from Donell Jones for “Love Like This”, his latest track from his upcoming album, Lyrics, slated for release September 28 on E1 Records.

According to TMZ.com:

In the docs, Spero claims she and Diddy — aka Sean Combs — butted heads after she informed him that she needed major hip surgery in 2008 … and then later “suffered a relapse” to an addiction to prescription medication and alcohol. Spero claims Diddy was “unsympathetic to her condition” — and ultimately tried to freeze her out of the company. Spero says she continued to do her work — signing new artists — but was eventually fired in March 2010…and replaced by a woman 10-15 years younger who “lacked the skill set and experience Spero brought to the position.” [ SOURCE ]

A spokesperson for Mr. Combs told TMZ, “This is a grab for money by someone who concedes in her complaint to having had a drug relapse while on the job and an employer who was not satisfied with her work.”
